• • Day 1: Arrival & Homestay: Pick up from GAGH at 9:00 AM. Drive to a community in a rural area (e.g., Mukono or Mityana). Break (1 hr): Lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive at the homestay in the afternoon. Settle in, meet the host family, and get an orientation. Dinner with the family.

  • Meals: Day 1-5: B/fast, Lunch, and Dinner at Homestay. Day 6: Lunch in Mbarara, Dinner at Rwakobo Rock. Day 7: B/fast and Lunch at Rwakobo Rock

• Day 2: Volunteering & Homestay: Breakfast at the homestay. Daily volunteer work (e.g., assisting at a school, community health center, or small-scale farming project). Lunch is provided by the program. Free time in the evenings to interact with the family and local community. Dinner at the homestay.

• Day 3: Volunteering & Homestay: Breakfast at the homestay. Daily volunteer work (e.g., assisting at a school, community health center, or small-scale farming project). Lunch is provided by the program. Free time in the evenings to interact with the family and local community. Dinner at the homestay.

• Day 4: Volunteering & Homestay: Breakfast at the homestay. Daily volunteer work (e.g., assisting at a school, community health center, or small-scale farming project). Lunch is provided by the program. Free time in the evenings to interact with the family and local community. Dinner at the homestay.

• Day 5: Volunteering & Homestay: Breakfast at the homestay. Daily volunteer work (e.g., assisting at a school, community health center, or small-scale farming project). Lunch is provided by the program. Free time in the evenings to interact with the family and local community. Dinner at the homestay.

• Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP: After a final breakfast with the host family, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Break (1 hr): Lunch in Mbarara. Check into the lodge. Activity (2 hrs): Afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Dinner at the lodge.

• Day 7: Safari & Drive to Entebbe: Early breakfast. Activity (2 hrs): Morning walking safari to see zebras, impalas, and other wildlife. Break (1 hr): Lunch at the lodge. Drive back to Entebbe. Arrive at GAGH in the evening.
